Today... I fixed Daniel's little pillow that he had had since he was a baby. The stuffing in it had gone wonky when I accidentally stuck it in the dryer after washing it. I opened up a seam, took out the old stuffing, laid out new stuffing for it and sewed it shut. And its done! (after sitting around for at least 6 months)
Then, I also cut two king sized flat sheets down to queen size and sewed those. I also cut and sewed two king size pillow cases as well as cut two more king size cases, but I still need to sew those.
And... for this past Christmas I had hoped to give our Christmas Day guests a cranberry orange loaf in a little felt bag. I had purchased the fabric, cut out the bag pieces and did the fabric paint, but had run out of time to sew them. Well today I sewed one bag. I realize Christmas is over but I can save them for next year, so I'm actually excited about that :-)
NOT BAD FOR A DAY'S WORK!!
2012 Projects
This is a record of the projects that I have completed in 2012. I have a number of projects started but are still incomplete. I have discovered that I am a good started but a terrible finisher. I am aiming to change that as this is not a good trait to have attached to me. Phil 1:6 - "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ:" He is my example - I have no excuses. So, today is the starting of change.

Mattress Cover
FINALLY - cut down my king sized mattress cover to fit a queen size bed. It only took an hour but it has been starring me in the face for the last 1.5 years. Ugh!! I don't know what I was stalling for but now that it is done, I am sooo relieved.
